Beauty appointments are part of the spa visit too
Moroccan spa menus can bring nail care, waxing, hair styling and makeup together in one place. They are convenient additions to a visit, but each has its own timing and price basis. Begin with the exact service you want rather than selecting a general beauty package and hoping every step is included.
If you are preparing for a wedding, dinner or another event, explain the order of your appointments and when you need to leave. A hammam, hair treatment and polish application require different practical arrangements, even when one venue provides them all.
Manicure, pedicure and nail polish
A manicure concerns the hands and nails; a pedicure concerns the feet. Express, spa and Oriental versions can differ in their filing, soaking, exfoliation and massage steps. Ask whether polish is included, and whether the quoted amount covers ordinary polish, gel or a French finish.
Mention any existing gel or extensions before booking. Removal and reapplication may require extra time and a separate charge. Ask how tools and foot baths are cleaned. Nail care should be comfortable; cutting or forcefully pushing the cuticles is not a necessary sign of a thorough treatment.
Waxing: specify the area and method
Compare exact areas: half leg, full leg, underarms and bikini are different entries. A full-body title can still have exclusions, so ask what it covers. Clarify the venue's meaning of bikini or Brazilian and discuss coverage and practitioner preference before the appointment.
Ask which method and product will be used. Waxing and laser hair removal are different services; do not treat an unfamiliar hair-removal label as interchangeable. Discuss sensitive skin, recent skin procedures or medicines that affect suitability directly with an appropriate professional.
Hair, blow-dries and styling
A brushing on a French-language menu generally means a blow-dry or styling appointment, rather than a body treatment. Check whether shampoo is included and whether hair length, thickness, extensions or the requested finish changes the price. A from price needs a final quote for your particular appointment.
If you plan a hammam or oil massage, tell the salon before arranging the sequence. You may want wet treatments first and styling later, but the venue should confirm a workable programme with enough time between services.
Makeup, henna and occasion packages
Day makeup, evening makeup and bridal preparation may be separate offers. Ask what the appointment includes and whether a trial, lashes or touch-up is additional. Bring a clear reference for the look you want, while allowing time to discuss products and the final arrangement.
For henna, ask about the product, area and design before agreeing the price. A small decorative pattern and a larger bridal design need different appointments. Do not assume that a photograph establishes the ingredients or that every salon offers every design.
Put the whole visit together
Allow time for polish to set, for changing and for any washing required between treatments. Ask the team about the order rather than combining exfoliation, waxing and heat without checking. Keep the venue's specific aftercare instructions with your appointment reply.
Choose each guest's services separately on Morocco Hammam. Where a menu gives a starting price or omits a duration, request the final details. Our spa-package guide explains how to compare combined visits and check what a package actually covers.
